In April, we’ll be looking at pride and humility. Why? Because we want to be mightily used of God, and the Bible instructs us to humble ourselves “under the mighty hand of God.” 1 Peter 5:6. God’s Word also has this promise:
“God resists the proud,
But gives grace to the humble.”
1 Peter 5:5. We’ll see that true humility is only possible when allowing the Holy Spirit to guide our lives. We’ll see the differences between pride and humility, and we’ll understand the dire warnings God gives to those who will not humble themselves before him.
It will be a hard look in the mirror – and will challenge us all to examine whether we are proud or humble. God encourages us to discover the blessing of true humility, so don’t miss these opportunities.
