My family and I are so thankful for the opportunity Maple Grove Missionary Baptist Church has extended for our service. We look forward to serving here for many years.
I am excited to begin 2021 with a study of the Church on Sunday mornings. We’ll see what God intended His Church to be and to do – then we’ll look and see how we can be better stewards of the blessings that God has bestowed.
On Sunday evenings in January, we’ll have a Bible study which I call “Lessons from the Road to Emmaus” based on Luke 24: 13-32. If you look at this Scripture, you’ll see that Jesus Christ used the Old Testament to show His disciples things about Himself – and hearing these things set their hearts on fire. That’s what we need as Christians today – our hearts to be on fire for the Lord Jesus Christ. This study will definitely strengthen your faith, and I encourage each of you to attend.
Wednesdays will be a time of prayer and discipleship, followed by fellowship and breaking of bread (okay, enjoying a meal together). We want to welcome all ages. We want this time to be one where ewe can get to know each other better, and together get to know our Lord better. So, please join us.
