“Are You Rapture Ready?”

When Jesus ascended into the clouds 40 days after His resurrection, the disciples looked on gazing up into Heaven.  Two men, in white apparel, appeared beside them and asked “Why do you stand gazing up into Heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into Heaven, will so come in like manner…”  Acts 1:11. 

Jesus will return for His church – not our buildings, but the body of believers who have put our faith in Him -in what is called the Rapture. When could that happen?  Anytime!  There is not a single prophecy that must yet be fulfilled in order for the Rapture to occur. What will follow oi the Earth will be 7 years of Tribulation, including the time of the AntiChrist and the Battle of Armageddon. But believers will not be part of that Tribulation, as at the Rapture, believers will be snatched (yes, that’s what the word Rapture means) form the Earth and meet Jesus in the air and shall forever be with Him.  1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.

Want to be part of the Rapture?  What does it take to be “Rapture Ready”?  It means that you have confessed Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and that you believe God has raised Him for the dead.  It means that you understand and believe – in your hearts – that Jesus       the Christ died to pay for our sins because we could not pay for them ourselves and was buried, according to what God had told us would happen in the Bible, and that on the third day, He arose again!

As we come to May, many will be taking their summer vacations. Planning- packing – getting ready.  Are you ready for the Rapture?  Do you have your bags packed and are you ready to go?  I pray you are. If not, just be advised there is no further warning about this event.  There will be a shout, a trumpet call, and it will happen. All in the twinkling of an eye. Those who are not believers will not hear anything.  There will be no time to pack and get ready at that point. It will be too late.
