“The Attitude of Service”

With all the opportunities for service available at Maple Grove over the summer, staring with VBS, I wanted to remind everyone that Christ left us the best example of the proper attitude for service ever given, and we can see that in Philippians 2:6-8, which tells us that Jesus:

who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

Jesus showed us that, when God is given all the Glory, and we remain in the background, lives are led to Christ. May we do all for the Glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31.

Thank you to all who serve.
