One reason to come to church is to learn about God. Yes, we teach about God in Sunday School. And I certainly hope that all who attend learn something about God and His wonderful love through the sermon. But I don’t want you just to learn facts. My prayer is that you learn about the reality of God – How He wants to be part of each and every minute of your life and will be if you allow Him. I pray each person reading this knows that God can change their lives forever.
How do you teach that? Well, there is something going on at Maple Grove that will point you to God in a very real way. You won’t meet perfect people. But, you will meet people whose lives have been changed forever by the power of God. People just like you. Just like the blind man in John 9, something happens when a person meets Jesus. That blind man gave quite a confession in John 9:25:
“One thing I know: that though I was blind, now I see.”
His life was changed because he met Jesus. That may have been all he knew, but his testimony was awesome. God makes a difference in the lives of each and every person who has surrendered to Him.
So, come learn about God form our members and their lives – let them tell you of their lives before meeting Jesus, how they met Jesus, and most importantly, how He’s changed their lives since then.
Changed lives bring the Word of God to life. Come and see.
