It’s so easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of Christmas that too often we don’t take enough time to meditate on what this season is really about. I pray that you and your family will be filled with peace and joy as you recognize the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ so many years ago. As you recall warm Christmas memories, and gather with loved ones to celebrate the holidays, be sure to remember God’s wonderful gift to each of us…the gift of His Son, born in a manger, for you and me.
Join us at Maple Grove this December to keep focused on the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This month in our Sunday morning services, we’ll be looking at Jesus through the prophecy of Isaiah 9:6 and the meaning of the names which are used to describe Him.
Then, from the Children’s Christmas Program on Sunday, December 12th at 6 P.M., to our Candlelight Christmas Eve Service (December 24th at 6 P.M.), we’ll focus on giving God Glory and Praise for all that He has done – and most of all for sending Jesus Christ as the best Christmas gift ever!
Penny and I wish you and yours a warm and wonderful Christmas as together we celebrate the birth of our Lord…our Savior…the King of Kings…Wonderful Counselor…the Mighty God…the Everlasting Father…the Prince of Peace…Jesus!
In celebration of Him,
Bro. Parks
